Qualified Ict Teacher Needed
Capita Education is looking for a qualified ICT teacher to start a long term maternity cover within a medium sized secondary school in the Shropshire area from January 2010. This particular school has always received good feedback on Ofsted reports which particularly commenting on the improving nature of this school. The school prides itself on the caring environment they create to ensure a positive and friendly environment for both pupils and staff.
The ideal teacher will not only have excellent ICT subject knowledge but will also be able to teach Business Studies and demonstrate the ability to be a positive role model to inspire pupils to aim higher. The school holds a strong ethos of mutual respect between staff and pupils and the ideal person will also share this ethos, while also having the ability to demonstrate strong classroom management where needed.
The skills we require are:
* Qualified Teacher Status either PGCE or Cert Ed
* Willingness to promote a positive learning environment
* Strong Classroom Management Skills
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work
* Excellent team player
Main duties:
* Teaching ICT through KS3/4/5
* Teach Business Studies KS3
* Plan creative and challenging lesson plans to ensure positive progression for pupils
* Mark all work and share future learning objectives with pupils
* Act as an integrated member of the department, attending all meeting etc
* Communicate effectively at all levels
* Work well as part of a large team of teaching and support staff
* Completing all reporting required by school
