Mulitskilled Engineer
Salary £24,000 plus vehicle, fuel card & tools
mobile covering Birmingham to Sheffield
immediate start for right candidate

We are looking for a multiskilled engineer with a electricial background to work mobile covering the Birmingham to Sheffield area for a building services contractor in the UK.

Duties:

Adherence to set standards in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures, completion of risk assessments in conjuction with the team and ensure risks are minimized and reported accordingly. Carry out and ensure PPM is completed in accordance with set schedules, ensuring standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the plant and associates systems on the mobile sites. Carry out additional / reactive work as required by line management and clients. To respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive issues and help desk requests. Develop opportunties with customer to provide technical solutions. Respond to callouts and cover breakdowns and emergencies as required by the contract. Respond in a prompt and effective manner to all reactive maintenance issues and helpdesk requests. Provide attendance to visiting specialist service providers associated with the PPM schedules.

Qualifications / Requirements:
Electrically qualified, with mechanical skills essential as follows:
17th Editiion Institute of Electrical Engineers IEE Registration or recongnised equivalent
City & Guilds (2078) Handling of Refrigerants or recognised equivalent
Good knowledge of airconditioning units such as AHU, VRV's and small split systems
basic handyperson skills such as carpentry, joinery, painting & decorating and plumbing would be an advantage
Fluent with Risk Assesments & Health & Safety procedures

Package:
£24,000 including pension, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, mobile telephone, overtime, call out standby and car or van.
