I'm looking to swap my Rover 216 Convertible
It's a M reg although it's on a private plate which is included
The car is black with half leather interior & Grey hood - the hood has no tears & had a new window fitted about a year ago
It has 200 series alloys fitted with good tyres - Also included is a set of 4 Fox 17" aloys ( 3 new/V good tyres ) & 1 ok & the locking wheel bolts
It has the full length centre console with armrest
Sony CD player with 12 disc changer in the boot & steering column mounted controller - seperate spectrum analyser/graphic equaliser mounted below
The car has electric winows/mirrrors remote central locking - the windows are currently tinted very light smoke although this is easily removed
The reason I am getting rid of the car is due to a change in jobs I haven't used the car for over a year & have bought various parts to do the little jobs needed - I've too much on & will never have the time to do it so would rather pass it on to someone who will
The mileage is just over 100k & as I haven't used it in over a year there is no MOT - before it was parked up it had new brake discs & pads all round, new radiator & the rear arm bushes replaced - To get therough the MOT it would need a battery & the rear exhaust box welding/replacing - this is currently a peco twin exit item & has a hole in it
There is a small patch of rust on each rear wheelarch ( very common on these & easy fix - about 1 inch in size - Also on the bottom rear corner of the left hand door about 1 inch )
I was a MOT tester so am confident it will pass easily - It starts & runs fine & has been started / driven backwards forwards every month
Included will be the bits I have bought to make the car 100% - PLEASE NOTE - these aren't needed but are little things that niggled me - clutch slips very very occasionaly after long drive when hot - New clutch included
The driveshaft on the right hand knocks lightly when going round tight bend - pair of reconditioned driveshafts included
Also included will be a fully featured clifford alarm with total closure remote garage door opener etc, Qucikshifter kit, side spats that fit in front of the rear wheel arches, 8 inch subwoofer, 6x9 sony spoeakers & anything else I find
You are more than welcome to view the car - it is in North Birmingham near Great Barr - I do work away in the week & will not be about until next Saturday though
All in all will be a very good car if you've a couple of days work to spare - If I was ever going to use it I would do it myself but having a company car & 3 motorbikes I never will
I'm looking for a motorbike ( Over 400cc ) or anything interesting ( something radio control ? ) & don't mind one that needs some work - or a 250cc+ scrambler
I will wash & polish it next Saturday if it's still available & upload pictures
