Full Time Travel Sales Consultant required for this busy travel sales team, specialising in winter sport and outdoor activity travel.


JOB DESCRIPTION:
A suitably experienced candidate is needed to join this busy, successful travel company, who specialise in ski, snow sport and outdoor activities. The role will initially be based from home, with the view to work, in future, in one of their offices, located near Chester or near Wolverhampton, if you live in a convenient location, also depending on yours and their needs. The working hours are Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30.

Responsibilities include:
* Sell all products and services via telephone and email.
* Gather and use your specialist knowledge to advise customers on suitable products and services.
* Manage own administration.
* Book flights and fully organise travel arrangements for the general public and travel agents.
* Work on recommendations and generate further enquiries, via mail shots, etc.
* Suggest and initiate additional sales techniques and system development to help within the business.
* Develop relationships with direct clients and agencies, further developing areas of growth.
* Attend meetings and promotional events.


EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Within this role you will work with an in-house system, using your previous travel system knowledge. Ideally this role would be best suited to an individual with a personal interest, or previous experience in skiing and other outdoor activities. The use of your previously gained travel industry knowledge and experience is key to this role.
Having German as a second language would be an advantage, but not essential.
