Structural, Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Needed!
My client serves clients principally in civil/structural fields, including buildings, infrastructure, nuclear, oil & gas and other industries. They are differentiated from their competitors by their ability to combine skills to solve particularly complex or unusual problems and their solution-orientated approach.
Role:
• Hands on structural or mechanical analysis for a range of specialist projects
• Providing system design calculations and preparation and review of drawings or documents
• Project and team administration duties
• Producing project related correspondence and reports
• Working directly with clients and other professionals with minimal supervision
• You will be driven by the desire to have a fundamental understanding of the technical challenges their clients bring and to develop valuable practical solutions
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior members of the team
Requirements
• Degree qualified and be working towards or have achieved your professional qualification
• Current track record in analytical engineering work
• Skilled in one or more of the following areas; stress analysis, structural design, impact and blast; vibration, seismic or wind engineering.
• Ideally some experience using non-linear dynamic FEA software
• Ability to understand and explain to others complicated structural or mechanical issues
• Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
• Able to quickly develop successful internal client relationships
• Able to work independently but refers upwards where necessary
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines is essential
• Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills
• Excellent communications skills (both written and verbal)
• Highly motivated and willing to take on new challenges
