The Company
RobertHalf Management Resources are recruiting for an interim NHS Capital Project Accountant for a West Midlands Hospital Trust
The Role
The NHS Capital Project Accountant is required to provide highly specialist support to the corporate decision-making process in respect of capital investment and capital charges.
This incorporates lead responsibility for the financial monitoring and accounting of the Trust's capital projects, financial analysis of equipment acquisitions, reporting the capital programme to the Trust's Board and ensuring that the Trust achieves its annual capital investment plans as agreed with Monitor.
The post holder will be required to liaise with the Asset Manager within the Estates department as well as communicate with other members of the Financial Management Team.
The role will demand complex communication/negotiations and effective working relationships. Communication with the Trust's Capital and Investment Group will also be required.
The post holder will be responsible for monitoring the progress of all capital projects as well as reviewing funding options for future projects. The post holder will also assist with the preparation of business cases and PFI schemes.
Salary & Benefits
£200 - 300 per day DOE, Limited company set up
