The post holder is responsible for providing assessment of NVQ units to the standards described by the Awarding Body and compliance with the companies training internal quality assurance procedures. The key tasks will be to assess candidates working towards NVQ awards and observe their workplace practice, attend and contribute at staff meetings, liaise with internal and external verifiers and develop internal documentation and support materials for the assessment as directed.

We are looking for D32 / 33 or A1 qualification qualified or working towards, coupled with excellent administration and interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. The suitable applicant must have significant workplace assessment experience, empathy with special needs of the candidates and a commitment to equal opportunities, diversity and widening participation and understanding of issues relating to social inclusion, widening participation in workplace learning and equal opportunities.
